Our Community

We offer market expertise and real estate services throughout the Washington metropolitan area and we specialize in the close-in neighborhoods of Bethesda and Chevy Chase, Maryland. We are not only Bethesda-Chevy Chase experts, we are longtime residents.

Bethesda

Downtown Bethesda serves as a major urban core and employment center of Montgomery County, with more than 200 restaurants, plus many more shops, art galleries, theaters and services. Bethesda’s neighborhoods offer a wide array of beautiful homes and nationally ranked schools, both public and private.

Corporate headquarters in Bethesda include hotelier Marriott International and defense giant Lockheed Martin. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the Consumer Product Safety Commission are also located in Bethesda.

The Washington Metrorail’s Red Line runs through Bethesda, stopping in the downtown area as well as the medical center at NIH.

Chevy Chase

This popular suburb is located just north of the Washington, DC border along the Connecticut Avenue corridor. The neighborhoods are filled with an assortment of architecture, from Georgians and Colonials to Arts and Crafts homes, Contemporary and Modern. Many homes have been lovingly restored and renovated. Shopping and dining is often within easy walking distance.

Quaint, village-like neighborhoods exist within Chevy Chase, and include Chevy Chase Village, Section Three, Section Five, Martin’s Additions, plus the Town of Somerset and the Village of Friendship Heights.

Development of Chevy Chase began in the 1890s with the innovation of the electric streetcar, and boomed during the 1920s and ’30s. Much of that early neighborhood charm remains today.

Edgemoor

An easy stroll from downtown Bethesda, Edgemoor is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in suburban Washington, DC.

A wide range of architecture is available along its tree-lined streets, from carefully renovated Colonials and Capes to sophisticated contemporaries and grand estate homes. Condominiums and townhouses are also an option. Residents can walk or cycle to parks, the Bethesda Library, the Edgemoor Club’s pools and tennis courts and Metro.

The community was created in 1912 by area real estate tycoon Walter Tuckerman who declared it for, “those of refined taste, demanding a better social atmosphere than surrounds the usual suburb…” At its heart is the Edgemoor Club on Exeter Road. The renowned Sidwell Friends Lower School is located in Edgemoor as well as Bethesda Elementary School.
