The Xanders were great to work with. In the spring of 2017 we represented this family in selling their townhouse and finding a new home to accommodate their growing family. How did you find The Lauren Davis Team?
We met Lauren through her mom, Sherry – her dog Henry spent weekend mornings playing at Norwood Park with our dog [pictured]. We decided to move when we found out we were pregnant with our second child and Sherry immediately knew of some perfect options. Although we saw a bunch of listings, we ended up purchasing the first house she showed us. Lauren stepped in to finalize the negotiations for our new home and then handled selling our previous home.
What was the best piece of advice you received?
Lauren was extremely helpful in negotiating the offer to purchase our new home. Since we bought a new home from a builder, she knew what to look out for and what we could fairly negotiate following the inspection. We definitely saved money on things we wouldn’t have expected to ask for prior to closing.
What most surprised you the most?
I was surprised at how easy it was to get our house on the market and then how fast it sold. Within a few short days we were given direction about how to get the house looking “market ready,” a camera crew came by to get photos and a 3D layout ready for the listing and showings were lining up even before the first open house.
How would you describe the process of working with the team?
Worry free. These ladies clearly know what they are doing and their advice was spot on with each step. The process of buying and selling with Lauren and Meghan was really enjoyable and felt highly personalized.

I would recommend LDT because they know the market so well and are incredibly responsive, accommodating and fun at the same time!
