“How’s Sherry?” The question I hear most often is “How is Sherry?!” I am pleased to report that Sherry is doing great! She lives full time in Delray Beach, FL, a place she fell in love during winter visits over the years. Delray is a little jewel of a town — in some ways a bit reminiscent of Bethesda, with the added bonus of warm winter weather and beautiful beaches — featuring plenty of shops, restaurants and activities for all.
Sherry stays active by playing on two tennis teams at the renowned Delray Beach Tennis Center; volunteering at the Arts Garage, a cultural hub for musicians, performers and visual artists; taking history classes at nearby Florida Atlantic University; and, as always, trying to keep up with her mischievous dog, Henry. Always an adventurous traveler, Sherry recently returned from a jaunt to France and Spain, with a stop at the Monte Carlo Open tennis tournament.
Sherry frequently visits family in our area and when she’s in town you’re sure to find her sitting on a bench outside Quartermaine Coffee, enjoying a latte and catching up with old friends.
