We were thrilled to represent Molly, Chris and “Leo” Jones in the purchase of their home in Kensington. They moved to the area after Molly accepted a job at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. Here’s what they had to say about the process.
How did you find The Lauren Davis Team?
We found the Lauren Davis Team nearly 2 years ago. My sister had a fabulous experience with the team and had recently closed on a home in Bethesda. When Chris and I figured out that we would be moving to the greater DC area from Baltimore, we knew the Lauren Davis Team would be the best fit.
What was the best piece of advice you received?
We decided to rent for a year to get to know the area. During that period, we were advised to go to open houses on weekends and explore different neighborhoods. This was important because although we knew we wanted to be in Montgomery County, we were unsure exactly where. Lauren and Meghan helped us narrow our focus and figure out where we wanted to be.
What most surprised you?
How long the process can take! We felt so lucky to have patient agents on our side. They didn’t rush us into a sale. They encouraged us take as much time as we needed to find the perfect home. The Lauren Davis Team was supportive, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable every step of the way.
How would you describe the process of working with the team?
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The entire Lauren Davis Team was involved and supportive through each phase of the process. Whenever we wanted to see a house, they were available, sometimes even within the hour, to meet us. They went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable, safe, and protected throughout the process. They made sure we were informed and always made our happiness the priority.
